A fine Victorian ebonised mahogany and Boulle-work credenza of serpentine outline, the top with gilt-brass egg and dart moulding to edge above a frieze, case, and pilasters inset with tortoiseshell and floral cut-brass inlay, the central door opening to a fixed shelf and velvet-lined interior, flanked by floral and mask-ast gilt-metal mounts and two cabinet doors, each enclosing two red velvet-lined shelves, all standing upon a shaped plinth base.
