A late Victorian mahogany and walnut roll top desk, the rectangular top with chamfered edge with plaque beneath inscribed "W. Stahlschmidt & Co., Manufacturers, Preston, Ontario, Canada" and in turn above the tambour front opening to reveal pigeon holes and leatherette covered writing surface in turn above a central frieze kneehole drawer flanked on either side by a further shallow drawer and each pedestal fitted with a hinging swivelling cabinet enclosing drawers and pigeon holes and with plinth beneath and raised on castors, each drawer with brass drop handle with embossed backplate, the whole with panelled sides and panelled back. Width 60ins. CONDITION REPORT: In generally used condition, tambour action works okay, some mouldings loose, surface scratches, was in daily use at a solicitors office until consigned to auction

The projecting base with moulded edge over three frieze drawers with arch moulded kennel flanked by two blind panel cupboards, half turned baluster pilasters on baluster turned feet. Circa 1900. 64" x 19.25" x 84" (162cm x 49cm x 213cm) CONDITION REPORT: Overall good condition, some pronounced ink stains to the top, a little dry, scuffs to the lower angles. Old damp stains to one end.

Some minor wear and tear commensurate with age.

Circa 1900. 30.5" x 13.5" x 65.5" (77cm x 34cm x 167cm) CONDITION REPORT: A little faded by sunlight particularly to one end. Otherwise no obvious damage or losses. Some minor wear and tear commensurate with age.
19TH CENTURY MAHOGANY AND ROSEWOOD METAL MOUNTED STRAIGHT FRONTED PIER CABINET having pierced brass gallery over foliate metal mounts to the frieze with two glazed doors below opening to reveal brass fronted fitted shelves, standing on a platform base. Circa 1860. 46" wide x 14" deep x 37" high (118cm x 36cm x 93cm) CONDITION REPORT: Overall good condition for age. Scuffs marks and minor stains to the top and around the platform base. Two splits evident to end panels.

Late 19th Century. 49" x 15.5" x 92" CONDITION REPORT: Good condition overall, minor damage to fret work piercing on pediment. Otherwise no serious damage or losses.

Two short mouldings missing from below the cornice.
