A Fine burr walnut and marquetry inlaid breakfront credenza, shaped top above a frieze inlaid with marquetry flowers, gilt metal leaf and roundel mounts above a pair of cabinet doors finely inlaid with classical urns and flowers enclosing two blue beige lined shelves flanked on either side by a bowfront glazed cabinet door, outset columns with gilt metal leafy mounts raised upon a breakfront plinth base, 95cms high x 188 x 44cms, (illustrated) CONDITION REPORT: The top, some rippling to the top on the right hand side and a piece of veneer missing approximately 6cms x 3cms, surface scratching and a deep indentation running approximately 34cms, left hand side some rippling to the veneer and discolouration possibly from old water damage, gilt beading in place but probably needs refixing, small piece of gilt beading missing at the back outset angle approx. 7cms, right hand bowfront glazed door good condition, metal ware a little bit of movement otherwise good, applied gilt metal mounts right hand angle good, door panels and marquetry good condition, slight movement to the gilt metal beading, blue velvet line original shelves, central section left hand glazed door good condition some brass beading missing right hand side centre approx. 6cms, otherwise good, original shelves, outset gilt metal mounts, some rubbing to the gilt but in tact, marquetry inlaid good, some scratching to the plinth, original back
