A Nicole Freres music box, with 33 cm cylinder playing eight airs, rosewood case. Length 64 cm (see illustration). CONDITION REPORT: The mechanism winds as it should. It does play. All teeth are present however there are two tips missing. These are tooth number 3 & 4 when viewed from the left to right. The mechanism appears to be fairly clean. The cabinet itself is in generally good order. The paper label to the interior of the lid is approximately 30% missing although all of the tune titles are present. The case is in generally good order with no significant damage, no repairs and no restoration.
A George III mahogany sideboard, shaped outline, fitted with a series of drawers with brass drop handles and shaped backplates and raised on tapered legs of square section. Width 72.5 ins. CONDITION REPORT: The sideboard is in reasonable order. The top is flat with no significant cracks. There are several areas of boxwood stringing missing from the top front edge. Approximately 21 ins in total. There is a crossbanded veneer loss to the right hand corner of the breakfront which runs around to the return. The right hand drawer is in generally good order with a small section of boxwood stringing missing in the bottom left hand corner. The handles are replacements. The centre drawer is in reasonable condition. The top left hand drawer has a small boxwood stringing loss. The bottom drawer (actually a cupboard) has a triangular veneer repair in the bottom left hand corner. There is boxwood stringing missing from around the bottom edge of the base. The legs are original. The front right hand leg is however loose at the joint. The side panels are in generally good order. The piece does require minor cabinet work hence the estimate.
A massive pine kitchen cabinet, with inverted breakfront, fitted with a series of open shelves, cupboards and drawers and dismantling into six sections. Length 170 ins, height 86 ins, depth 28 ins (see illustration). CONDITION REPORT: The cabinet is in generally good order. The cornice is in good condition as are all of the cupboard doors. They are not warped. We have three of the four brass drop handles from the centre drawers. We also have the keys for the door locks. There does not appear to be any woodworm. We have photographed the areas where the mouldings do not quite meet at the corners of the feet. As the cabinet is sectional we have not screwed it together as one would in situ. We feel that it should be possible to draw the items together properly when properly assembled.
A late 19th century French mahogany corner cabinet, with marble top, by Mellier, with brass gallery and ormolu mounts. Width 19.5 ins. CONDITION REPORT: The brass gallery is in good order but has lost its original gilding. The marble top is scuffed and marked but there are no breaks or cracks. The metalwork to the frieze is in good condition. The polish behind the frieze is dull. The metalwork to the remainder of the cabinet is all intact but has lost its gilding in places. The door is visually in good order and although dirty of a good colour. There is a visible crack on the right hand side running from the top of the door 3/4 of the way down the length on the hinged side. This is much more clearly visible from the inside. Internally the piece has one shelf which has a crack across the rear. The rear panels are in good order. The feet are original and simply dirty. The lock works as it should.

The only minor issue is the brass lock escutcheon on the long door is missing. The silvered brass dial is in generally good order. The clock is currently ticking away and we have both weights and pendulum. We have a key. The movement is of good quality and is currently ticking away and striking as it should. The trunk door is not warped.
