Horizontal crack to both panel doors. Further cracking to top of lower stage including to both corners. Secretaire drawer is missing a compartment cover, writing surface is later-covered. Cracking to side panels. **General condition cosistent with age

A relatively late example in sound condition. 'Glazing' appears to be plastic opposed to glass (door and side panels) **General condition consistent with age

Early 20th Century mahogany library bookcase, with acanthus-carved dentil cornice over a pair of long glazed cabinet doors with quatrefoil and lancet-arch tracery enclosing four adjustable shelves, the base with gadrooned edge over twin cupboard doors, on bracket feet, 143cm x 40cm x 224cm high Condition: It is possible that the upper and lower sections are an 'old marriage' as the stylistic motifs do not match. However the colour match is acceptable and the top section fits into the space provided by the lower section. Two breaks to quatrefoil panels, minor scratching and visible joins to panels of lower stage cupboard doors.
