Two 16.5 x 10.7cm, albumen print cabinet cards showing three-quarter length portraits of King George V in the uniform of the Admiral of the Fleet and Queen Consort Mary of Teck with dress and jewels worn for the coronation of Edward VII, signed "George R. 1908" and "Victoria Mary 1908", both with original gilt-edged mount of the photographic studio W. & D. Downey; tape residue to printed rear, some browning to mounts, ink slightly faded to Mary's signature. William and Daniel Downey opened their studio in 1863 and could boast many members of the Royal family among their sitters.
