A walnut cabinet on chest, the moulded cornice above a pair of engraved mirrored doors, enclosing a later brass rail and two drawers, above two short and two long graduated drawers, on bracket feet, 18th century and later, 81in (205.4cm) h, 57.75in (146.7cm) w, 22in (56.3cm) d. One back board missing, old replacements and restorations, cracks and water damage.
A Queen Anne japanned cabinet, the doors decorated with a chinoiserie hunting scene enclosing an arrangement of ten drawers, on a later giltwood stand elaborately carved with scrolls, flowers and foliage, 65.25in (165.5cm) h, 42.75in (108.5cm) w, 22.25in (56.3cm) d. Old damages and restorations, the hinges and lock escutcheon replaced. Provenance: Purchased from Biggs, 9th July 1974.
An Italian walnut cabinet on stand, the moulded cornice above a later glazed door enclosing a plush lined interior, above a drawer, the stand with baluster turned stretchered supports, 17th century and later, 71.75in (182.4cm) h, 41in (103.8cm) w, 17in (43cm) d. Old worm holes. Provenance: Bought from the Berkley Gallery, Davies Street, London.
A late 19th century Italian carved walnut cabinet in Renaissance revival style, with applied marble tablets, the moulded cornice above a foliage frieze and three panelled doors carved with classical scenes and figures, above three drawers, on turned column supports and bun feet, 68.25in (173.1cm) h, 56.75in (144.2cm) w, 19.25in (48.5cm) d. One foot off but present, losses to mouldings.
A 19th century Viennese enamel and ebonised table cabinet, with gilt metal mounts raised on a bracket foot platform above a drawer to a waisted base, with urn surmounted scroll veloutes and a twin door cabinet containing three short drawers with further drawer above, the sloping top with an urn surmount, all the painted panels depicting mythological scenes, 11in (28cm) h, 9in (23cm) square. Cracks and losses to carcass, minor repairs to some panels.
An Edwardian writing cabinet on stand, inlaid stringing and satinwood banding, the hinged top and panelled fall revealing a part leather lined rule holder and writing surface, with pigeon holes, drawers, and inkwells, with a brass plaque 'PRESENTED TO W. GARDENER ESQ BY THE MEMBERS OF THE RAILWAY CLEARING HOUSE, APRIL 1910', the stand fitted a drawer, on brass castors, 45.75in (116.4cm) h, 32.25in (81.8cm) w, 14.5in (36.6cm) d. Part of lock off, minor damages.
A Victorian mahogany collector's cabinet, the eight drawers with brass locks stamped 'Nettlefold's', panelled sides, 35.75in (90.5cm) h, 26.75in (68cm) w, 26in (66cm) d. Three handles damaged and with parts missing, cracks to left and right hand sides each with lower part of moulding missing.

Signed by Ruskin in dark ink to the lower photographer's mount and dated 1883 in his hand. Some slight scuffing to the image and light age wear to the extreme lower edge, otherwise VG
