With open fret gilt borders, turquoise ground and pate sur pate decorated with birds and butterflies and with brambles, one plate with a stag beetle. Printed mark and retail stamp for T. Goode & Co. A 17th century Indo Portuguese coromandel fitted table cabinet on ebonized Victorian stand. With silvered mounts and drop handles and profusely inlaid with ivory penwork panels. Overall height 129cm. Condition Report. To be used as a guide only. Some shrinkage and movement to the veneers. Very slight loss to veneers on the front. Some inlay loss and repair but again quite minimal. Does not sit well on the stand, possibly married rather than made to measure or perhaps a piece missing between the two. Overall good condition.
