Hans Brattrud for Hove Mobler - An impressive eleven piece dining room suite comprising of an oval extension table with two leaves, raised on chrome hairpin legs, table fully extended length 213 cm, height 73 cm, a set of eight curved rosewood high backed chairs on chrome frames, together with a low sideboard fitted with four drawers, width 133 cm x height 87 cm x depth 50 cm, and a tall glazed cabinet with fall front, width 93 cm, height 166 cm x depth 50 cm, circa 1960's, veneered in Dalbergia Nigra (Brazilian rosewood) and sold with CITES certificate no. 602750/01. CONDITION REPORT: The suite appears to be in very good condition overall. The two cabinets and the table have some typical fine surface scratches to the finish. The glazed cabinet has a small chip to the veneer at the back on the lower left. The key is present for the fall front. The table leaves are darker in colour than the two main sections. The table has some shallow surface scratches and some streaks of white paint in a few areas which would rub off easily. Two of the chairs each have a small section of damage to one of the uprights of the back rests, see close-up images. All of the chairs have somewhat wobbly legs.
