MID-18TH CENTURY OAK BUREAU CABINET, with narrow cavetto cornice and plain frieze above fielded panelled doors between fluted angles, base with angled fall opening to a fitted interior of shelves, pigeon holes and arched door centre (loose) between sliding secret drawers, base fitted four drawers on bracket feet, 117 w x 59 d x 200cms h Condition: fall with split to LHS, repair to section above lock, side panels to base shrunk, cabinet panels slightly shrunk and with repair to inside back of one door.

All presumably related to the same family, many appearing to be Welsh in origin (or similar surrounding area). A Victorian Glazed Oak Stationery Cabinet, of rectangular form with brass handles, the hinged top and glazed fall enclosing an arrangement of drawers and compartments and with a pair of German porcelain inkwells and covers, on a plinth base, 38cm wide. In restored condition with minor scratches, wear and splitting. Inkwells probably not original to the box.
An Arts & Crafts Oak Table Cabinet, early 20th century, of tapering rectangular form, the panelled door with leaded glass panel enclosing two drawers, on plinth base, 29cm wide. In restored condition with some surface scratching and minor splitting and shrinkage. Small silver of wood missing fran base edge of door 2.5cm in length approx 4mm width, outer wood surfaces lightley sounded at some point, left side slightly faded, left front edge of cabinet bearing multiple dents and minor losses. Faint marks to left side panel & key within.
