A 16th Century Gothic Oak Cabinet. The top measuring 41 ins x 20 ins (105 cms x 50 cms) with wavy cut mitred ends above an upper cupboard with a central panel door enriched with a carved bird, face masks and entwined dragons flanked by side panels depicting saints stood in arched niches. The lower compartment having a hinged fall-down front of meandering vines bearing clusters of grapes. Standing on stile supports 39 ins (99 cms) in height with four linen-fold panels each end.
A George III mahogany splay fronted corner cabinet, with cavetto cornice and figured frieze, the interior having three shaped shelves enclosed by a glazed door, on an associated cupboard with panelled door, bracket feet, 177cm h; 77 x 49cm . In overall good condition with old restoration and repair - the cornice replaced, the glazing bars probably replaced, married to the base probably about 1900

Restored, the restoration old and having yellowed with time but of fine appearance
