An early 19th century longcase clock, ca 1820, signed to the 13 inch arched, painted dial for J. MacNab of Perth, the dial is colourfully painted with four seated lady's in pastoral poses in the corners and a seated lady to the arch, the case of mahogany with inlaid decoration, quarter-reeded columns, matched reeded columns to the hood, swan necked pediment with brass paterae and single ball and spire brass finial, 8-day bell striking movement, with painted pendulum, weights, winding key and cabinet key. 212cm to top of the ball finial.
