A late 19thC rosewood and marquetry side cabinet, the top with a moulded and dentil cornice, above a frieze decorated with foliate scrolls, etc., and four astragal glazed doors, on tapering supports, the base with a central glazed door, flanked by recesses, on square tapering legs, 195cm high.
English Arts & Crafts/ Art Nouveau inlaid mahogany sideboard, by Robson & Sons, Newcastle-on-Tyne, the arched back with extended display cupboards with leaded glazed panelling, above a slightly bowed extended top, with two short drawers and pair of cupboards, fruitwood stylised inlaid panels throughout, pierced strapwork hinges and escutcheons, applied label, width 152cm, depth 48cm, height 184.5cm.Condition report:Cornice and pediment are good, top of left cabinet split and rear corner chipped, one small glass panel in the door cracked, right cabinet escutcheon loose, both side shelves are good, some light scuff marks around the drawers and to the left side of the drawer, metal strap to right door loose, some scuff marks around the feet, doors and cabinets open with no keys.Additional images have been uploaded to the lot page on our website for you to view.

Four Sevres porcelain cabinet plates, painted with portraits within cobalt and "jewelled" borders with panels of flowers, named on the reverse including Louis XVI, Marie Antoinette, Marie-Stuard, Mlle d'Angleterre, diameter 25cm.Qty: 4Condition report:Marie-Stuard - Some losses to the red beading below the portrait on the border. NO hairlines or damage to the porcelain. Some all over surface scratching and rubbing to the gilding.Louis XVI - No hairlines or damage to the body of the plate. Several chipped losses to the beading and jewels to the borders. Some pinpoint losses to the portrait glaze and several surface scratches to the surface.Marie Antoinette - a slight chip to the base line of the plate to the underside. No hairlines or restoration. Several losses to the beading, especially to the inner border surrounding the portrait. Mdm d'Angleterre - No hairlines or damage to the body of the plate. SOme losses to the turquoise beading surrounding the portrait, and other losses to the applied beading to the main border.
