A very fine pair of Royal Worcester porcelain cabinet plates; both superbly gilded against a puce ground and with central floral spray in enamels and individually signed by the artist 'Freeman', printed marks to the underside, 27cm diameter CONDITION REPORT: The plate with the original lot number sticker appears a little dirty and stained underneath but this seems to rub off easily. Very good quality noted, the gilding appears very nice as does the signed vignette of floral spray. No cracks, chips of restoration noted. The other plate with the part lot sticker again is a little stained, dark and dark splashes to the underside which appear to wipe off easily. Also the gilding looks very good and bright and the floral vignette is decorated in enamels and signed. No chips, cracks, hairlines or restoration noted.

Three cabinet plates, one Royal Worcester decorated with a still life of peaches and grapes etc., (signed), 27cm diameter, one further similar plate decorated with apples and black grapes (also signed) and an unmarked plate with cobalt blue border surrounding peaches, strawberries etc. (signed), (3) CONDITION REPORT: First plate with cobalt blue border and "serrated" edge has a few minor scratches to the cobalt blue border, the interior looks reasonable although there is an approx. 1cm scratch below the single right hand strawberry, some further minor scratching to cobalt blue border. The underside looks reasonable with no discernible cracks, chips, hairlines or restoration. Signed with the name Budd. The plate marked with the Royal Worcester mark to reverse and showing three peaches with greengages or gooseberries appears in good general overall order with the foot rim slightly darker through dirt etc., signed C. Lowe? The last similar plate (no mark to reverse) also appears in good general original condition. There is a small scratch to the left hand side beginning where it has been signed C.A. James? Other smallish scratches visible at close quarters to the paint work although the reverse looks quite good.

Poole' (modern) together with one other similar sized cabinet plate, English fine bone china and also hand-decorated with pheasants in snowy surroundings, signed R. Budd, the latter plate 27cm in diameter (2) CONDITION REPORT: The plate with the Highland cattle appears to be in very good original condition with no real condition issues noted. The companion plate of pheasants has one or two minor scratch issues but nothing major. There is a very thin 1cm scratch emanating vertically emanating from the right hand side of the main pheasant head. Very nice paint work noted and quality of decoration. No chips, cracks or restoration noted. In good general order the pair.
Box of Early Photographs and Empty Luxury Vintage Album. Small box with an interesting collection of Cabinet Prints mounted on heavy card, most dating from 1880's to 1910. Many are unidentified family portraits but with some good topographical and thematic. With brass bands, horses, topographical, canals, rivers and harbours etc. Usually with studio identification on the cards, many from the Yorkshire area. Also some smaller Cartes de Visite , popular from 1860 to 1900. These include a small portrait of Cetawayo, Zulu King. Also a very fine gold blocked empty album in very fine condition, which would house both types of card. Interesting lot.
