An Italian early 19th Century marquetry rectangular side cabinet of compact proportions, Milanese c.1800, the top cross banded and quarter veneered in rosewood and with satinwood and kingwood banding, centred by a rosette motif and flanking flowerheads. The frieze drawer decorated with marquetry portrait medallions depicting classical soldiers in helmets, above a single cupboard door with decoration corresponding to the top, and raised on octagonal tapering supports with bulb form feet. 57cm wide, 80cm high, 41cm deep

An Irish William IV mahogany cabinet of graduated rectangular form, surmounted by a mirror panel above twin glazed panel cupboard doors and glazed cupboard boase, crossbanded in rosewood. The entire decorated with rope twist moulding interposed by applied circular disc motifs and raised on turned bun feet, probably Cork, 70cm wide, 151cm high
George III mahogany Display Cabinet, in the manner of Ince & Mayhew, with urn and bellflower finial above a blind fretwork cornice, the interior with three shelves and enclosed by glazed doors and sides, on a stand, fitted with a frieze drawer, on square moulded legs with fretwork spandrels and joined by fretted stretchers, 102cms, (3'4"). Provenance: Jackson Stopps & Staff sale on behalf of the Executors of Mrs Sarah Cropley deceased, The Contents of Elmleigh, Dallington, Northampton, Thursday 12th and Friday 13th September 1940, Lot 139, and then by descent.
Arts & Crafts light oak Cabinet on Stand, the upper half with rectangular top above an interior fitted with three shelves and enclosed twin doors, the base with three long drawers with brass handles, with chamfered pilasters, the doors and sides with trellis and adzed panels, one foot carved with an acorn, 93cms, (3'½"). Foonote: The acorn was the trademark of Acorn Industries run by D.J. Grainger & Son. D.J. Grainger was an apprentice of Robert Thompson of Kilburn.
