A group of English porcelain cabinet cups, early/mid 19th Century, comprising a pair of salmon ground examples gilt with vermiculé pattern, probably Chamberlain's Worcester, an example with a border of flowers on a gilt ground, perhaps Spode, a Derby (Sampson Hancock) demitasse with pink roses and gilt stripes and an example probably Chamberlain's Worcester decorated in the Kakiemon palette together with a Chamberlain's Worcester orange ground kidney-shaped dish, painted with bouquets (restored and lacquered) (6) CONDITION REPORT: The first- One cup with three stained hairline cracks to rim and staining to foot. One saucer with small rim chip.The second- Cup with a small hairline crack to side. Lightly worn gilding.The third- Lovely conditionThe fourth- Lovely conditionThe dish- With over-gilding and lacquer to both of the sides flanking the flower painting. Difficult to discern if dish was broken or chipped, very well repaired276 - No pattern number under lable.
A Derby cabinet plate, circa 1815, painted Cupid surveying a terrestrial globe by Robert Brewer, with a gilt border festooned with scroll work, urns and bells, 23cm diameter CONDITION REPORT: No damage or restoration. Scratch to enamel near globe and very light wear to gilding on edge of well. Overall good.
