An album of letters, photographs and signatures of politicians and other notables of the day, predominantly 1870s/1880s, all the items pasted in and many addressed to the politician William Grantham [MP for East Surrey from 1874 to 1885], including autograph letters signed by The Duke of Buccleuch, Duke of Wellington (1880), Hertford, Henry Ibbetson, Hampton, Carnarvon D Edmondson General Frederick Roberts, Hobart Pasha, Charles Beresford Richmond & Gordon Castlereagh, Derby, Alfred Thesiger, a fine double page display of the cabinet of England at the time of the Treaty of Berlin, July 1878, with fourteen mounted (mostly) cartes-de-visite albumen photos with signatures beneath, including Queen Victoria (cut signature mounted beneath), the Prime Minister Beaconsfield, Salisbury, Stafford Mullock, W. H.
