A circa 1900 oak office filing chest, arranged as fifteen short drawers, having panelled sides, the frieze stencilled Shannon Filing Cabinet, labelled P&F Schafer, 1 Golden Square, London W, with adjustable drawer lock to centre of base, h.85cm, w.89cm, d.52cm Provenance: Rushbrooke Estate, Bury St Edmunds Condition Report / Extra Information No splits. Top badly scuffed and with varnish loss and age wear. Sides good. Front good. Stands well. Drawers run well. Locking mechanism working. Most drawers with original Shannon company filing cards.
