A large Japanese Shibyama carved cabinet, Meiji period, having all over carved decoration with mother of pearl and bone inlay to the back and cupboard doors on conforming wooden stand, 127cm wide x 220cm tall. Condition Report: Good overall condition - general wear but no major loss or repairs needed. Fretwork to base broken at bottom right corner, but can be repairs. Decoration good throughout. Scratches and scuffs in places.
A good reproduction Mahogany Cabinet on Chest with moulded cornice over opposing single raised and fielded panel doors having central applied carved geometric motif, the base having moulded edges with two short over one long drawer with applied fronts and metal tear drop handles, standing on barley twist legs and stretchers, 49 1/4'' wide x 72 1/4'' high x 15 3/4'' deep.
An elegant 19th c. Walnut table top glazed Cabinet having carved and moulded pediment top with dragon shield and motif, 'Semper par at us' and having castellated moulding over the single glazed door, having nine panes and wooden glazing bars, flanked by turned column supports, carved panel sides with birds, acorns and leaves, on lower moulding. 27'' wide x 39 1/2'' high x 13 1/4'' deep
***An interesting 19th c. Oriental ebonised glazed Cabinet on Table having moulded cornice on a carved frieze and frame with carved half turned twist column supports and a pair of opposing single pane glazed doors on pin hinges with applied, carved and pierced corner decoration, the sides being similar, with Rosewood back panels of clip construction, comes apart. The base having cleated top with carved shaped frieze featuring a dragon head, the carved shoulder cabriole legs with paw feet and having lion masks to the top, 44 1/4'' wide x 68 1/4'' high x 21'' deep.
A late Victorian Chippendale revival Display Cabinet on stand, the top having pierced fret cut pediment over applied floral moulded frieze, the pair of opposing twelve pane geometrically glazed doors with wooden glazing bars opening to reveal two glass shelves. The bow fronted table base having moulded top with flight of two applied moulded front drawers with ornate brass plate handles, standing on tapering square legs with lower shaped tier and spade feet. 30 1/8'' wide x 72'' high x 18 1/4'' deep
