Gilbey Esq., Folly Farm, Sulhampstead, 29th April 1940 Condition Report: Marks, knocks, scratches, abrasions consistent with age and useOld splits and cracks, chips and losses, one piece of moulding to the front edge is detached but present, it has old breaks and losses in this area including old worm damage, other pieces of moulding appear that they have been detached and others with signs of repair and replacementHandles replaced throughout with marks and various plugged holes where others have sat. The two locks to the drawers are operated by a key that appears to engage both but the locks don't appear to retract after. The upper section has an old lock but no key, the lock is unlocked at time of reportOverall appears to stand solid and stable, top and base are attached to each other and are solidly held in place - the interior is later fabric lined and presumably this obscures any screwheads Please see additional images for visual reference to condition Condition Report Disclaimer

Dutch marquetry inlaid bombe display cabinet with extensive floral inlay, astragal glazed door, above four drawers, standing on shaped bracket feet, 101cm wide x 200cm high x 58cm deep With signs of wear consistent with age and use. With splits. The glass with some scratches. With natural imperfections of the glass. The interior fabric lining with some staining.
