A Victorian Figured Walnut, Marquetry Inlaid and Gilt Metal Mounted Pier Cabinet, circa 1870, the moulded top above a cupboard door flanked with gilt foliate mounts, on a plinth base, 77cm by 32cm by 102cm CONDITION REPORT: Central rectangular section attached to right hand door, opening 35cm wide. Various minor losses, veneer lifting, splits, scratches and general wear.
A 19th Century Dutch Mahogany and Marquetry Inlaid Wall Mounted Display Cabinet, the architectural moulded pediment above a glazed door enclosing a later velvet lined interior of two shelves, with canted glazed sides, 102 by 23cm by 105cm CONDITION REPORT: Circa late 19th century. Moulded pediment is probably later in date. The glass on the cabinet is in good condition however there are traces of white? emulsion paint to the right-side glass and also around the plinth base. The left-hand side panel with a small repair around one of the glazed bars and also the top left-hand corner. Traces of old putty to the side around some of the glass. The doors/lock needs attention as this is slightly difficult to open. The inside of the door has been ebonised. The fabric lined interior is reasonable. With key and working lock.
A Victorian Mahogany and Marquetry Inlaid Display Cabinet, late 19th century, inlaid with trailing flowers, ribbons and musical trophies, the moulded canopy above glazed doors enclosing a velvet lined interior, two moulded panels below with an arched apron, on cabriole forelegs with gilt metal mounts, 101cm by 44cm by 212cm CONDITION REPORT: Variations in colour with some fading mainly around the moulded section of the cupboard doors and the base. Bruising around the cornice with a very minor shrinkage gap/split at the top of the doors. Further scuffs to the moulding above the frieze and some further scuffs to forelegs and feet. With key and working lock. The fabric covered interior in fair condition. Measurements should read 101cm by 44cm by 212cm.
