Edwardian silver mounted green leather stationery cabinet with rococo scroll, floral and latticework decoration and engraved presentation inscription, hinged cover and green silk-lined interior compartments (London 1909), William Comyns & Sons Ltd., together with a fully-matching silver mounted desk blotter (same date and maker), stationery cabinet 31cm across (2) CONDITION REPORT General overall condition reasonably good. Cabinet - silver decoration is slightly distorted and tarnished, some securing pins are missing but no signs of major damage or repair. Casing is damaged in places, leather is lifting and very dirty on all panels and torn in places. Interior is worn and has some damage to partitions. Key is absent. Hallmarks are clear. Blotter - silver work in similar condition to cabinet, no major damage or repair, some pins missing, marks clear, leather cover is very dirty and scuffed in places, interior is loose and quite badly damaged. Presentation inscription on both items 'Presented to the Rev H J & Mrs Adams as a token of respect and esteem by the choir and congregation of All Saints Church & Friends Stoke Ferry on the occasion of their leaving the Parish, Easter 1910'
