19th Century porcelain cabinet plate, painted with a scene of the Clifton Suspension Bridge within pierced border gilded and painted with floral vignettes, red painted title verso, possibly Grainger’s Worcester, 23.5cm diameterCondition report: Eight cracks from rim to pieced apertures, visible on reverse. Does not 'ring'. Some light scratches to enamels. Gilding appears in good order.
Royal Worcester porcelain cabinet plate, the central panel painted with floral spray signed by Nigel Creed, reserved on a richly gilded claret ground, gold marks (possibly rubbed for second), 26.5cm diameterCondition report: Rings well and has no obvious flaws, but has some scratching to gilt mark - this may be due to the removal of the adhesive disc hanger but it may be a slight second. There is the tiniest line of 'spilt' gilding to the red ground and the floweheads and leaf tip gilding is a little dull in colour but otherwise we cannot see another flaw to downgrade it.
