Condition Report: Marks, knocks, scratches, abrasions consistent with age and useThis is probably circa 1900 or early 20th century in make and manufactureOld splits and cracks, some chips and losses, One end (the lighter) with significant crack that opens when the table is unwound, it closes when closed tightOne leaf is loose to the top and will need re-securing, the central supporting legs have twisted and may also require some attentionThere is the winder present, the cabinet contains six additional leaves, these are numbered to ensure they are inserted in the correct order - Dreweatts have not tested the table at full length.It has a double action, both appear to be working at time of report but will benefit from a clean and an oil no doubtColour variation to the leaf insertions, the two ends also are different in colour also (it is assumed at least one leaf has probably been inserted for the majority of the time hence the variation to the tops due to differing levels of UV exposureThe leaf cabinet is unpolished, probably not designed to be on show, the lock works at time of report.
