A Royal Worcester porcelain cabinet plate, 19th century, the centre decorated with a scene of Craignethan Castle, surrounded by five vignettes of further castle and landscape scenes, set against a cobalt blue ground with gilt highlights, shaped gilt rim, titled 'Craignethan Castle Lanarkshire' to base, 26cm diameter, with a further cabinet plate, possibly Derby, with a central scene of a shepherd and shepherdess, within a gilt foliate border, 23cm diameter (at fault) (2) Condition report: The Royal Worcester plate shows fine surface wear throughout, minor hairline cracks to the underside. The other shows minor surface scratching to the gilt foliate border and minimal crazing to the central scene, no other obvious signs of damage or restoration.

A REGENCY BRASS INLAID ROSEWOOD MARBLE TOPPED TWO DOOR SIDE CABINETFlanked by brass column supports, 85cm wide; 35cm deep; 95cm highCondition report: The marble top is in relatively good condition with some scuffs, marks and minor chips to the edges. The white-ish mark visible in the catalogue online image is another sticker, placed in the middle the front edge. The cabinet has been restored at some point with replaced silk, which is good conditon. The doors are stiff and drag slightly on the plinth base, resulting in scuff and scratch marks. Metal columns and feet are atypical, normally these are giltwood and gesso. Otherwise inevitable scuffs, scratches, dents, small chips and marks commensurate with wear, use and age.

An exceptionally fine 18th Century chinoiserie lacquered two door Cabinet on Stand, the interior with an arrangement of eleven long and short drawers, decorated with landscape and river scenes, figures attending daily chores, the interior door decorated with birds, insects and flowers, the exterior door decorated with pained oval panels, also decorated with figures under willow trees, the side panels with flowers, profusely adorned with ten pierced strap brass hinges and conforming lock panel, the giltwood stand profusely carved with scrolling foliage, flowers, cherubs and central classical female figure, the four legs carved in the form of cherub caryatids on scroll feet, approx. 173cms high x 114cms wide (68'' x 45''). Edwardian inlaid mahogany china cabinet, glazed doors enclosing three shelves, splayed legs, width 66cm, depth 31cm, height 154cm.Condition report:Overall marks and scratches to the exterior. The shaped apron is lacking on the lower right. The moulded spacing and outlines of the glass have numerous breaks and repairs, with on length still missing to the door (upper right corner). Crack to the door glass lower left. The interior shelves have pink baize just laid on top of the original cotton lined shelves. The back panels are splitting.
