Four 'Natural History Museum' mahogany cabinets, late 19th Century, attributed to one of three cabinet makers commissioned to make these cabinets, Gillow, Druce and Cubit, each having two panelled doors, 98cm wide, 52cm deep, 55cm high (4) These cabinets were purchased directly from the British Museum of Natural History in London, after they replaced the cabinets that originally held their collections. The new cabinets were designed to hold the existing trays which is why, unfortunately, none of the cabinets offered have internal drawers.

A six-drawer brown-stained wooden chest used as a collector's cabinet and containing various assemblages, to include a worthy collection of C.T.C. lapel and bicycle mounted badges, all in good fettle and with some rarities. Also, a small collection of tricycle and bicycle club badges and insignia, to include Clarion, Veteran Cycle Club, The Kenton, Reigate, NAVCC with year bars, Benson, Lyric, Westerly and many others. In another drawer is a collection of headstock name badges to include, Vindec, Cinelli, Stella, Raleigh, Hercules, Bates, Humber, Dawes, Rudge Whitworth and many others. Also, miscellaneous other items, to include Cycling Battalion badges, a cycling penknife, expandable drinking cup, small transfer-printed tins, silver-coloured vesta case, etc. Restricted viewing, please ask to inspect.
