It is taller than many similar pieces so check your dimensions! The banding is neat and elegant. There is a small section of moulding missing from the top right drawer front, but nothing serious. The bottom part of the front right foot has slight wear. The right side has a split in the panel, but again nothing unusual or to be concerned about. One of the internal slides is missing. 3 not 4.

Pratts of Bradford: A 1920/30 Walnut and Japanned Cocktail Cabinet on Stand, the reverse labelled and stamped 5574 and 6843, the two doors richly decorated with figures in a landscape with stylised trees amongst a black and gilt decorated floral border, enclosing a removeable shelf and aperture for bottles, the side panels decorated with polychrome flowers and leaves, on a stand decorated with husks raised on cabriole legs and gilt scrolled toes73cm by 50cm by 146cmThe cabinet is open but there is no key. Generally in nice condition throughout, with the exception of some minor scratches and scuffs. Overall good.

A 20th Century Black and Gilt Japanned Cabinet on Stand, the upper section with decorative brass hinges and mounts, with painted double doors enclosing a painted interior with an arrangement of drawers, on foliate carved stand decorated with cherubs and carved acanthus scrolled feet133cm by 61cm by 158.5cmGenerally good condition with the exception of the right-hand panel where the decoration is starting to lift. There are some losses to the flowers and also some sections have been sellotaped on. Interior decoration is good. With key and working lock, although the lock is temperamental. Provenance: From a deceased estate in Yorkshire. The base measures 133cm at it's widest point, ie the legs. The width of the cabinet is 112cm.
