The top lifts to reveal a shallow tray containing a large number of fly tying tools, and the twin front doors open to allow access to four drawers, all containing early fly tying materials, tools, hooks etc Makers include Hardy Bros, Cummins of Bishop Auckland, S. & E. Messeena, Veniard and a vice by Southview of Caerphilly, Glamorgan and seventeen spools of Cellulite tying silk made to tie the special range of trout flies developed by J. W. Dunne and detailed in his book `Sunshine and the Dry Fly`, published in 1924.
