An Eleven Piece Carved Mahogany Dining Room Suite, late 19th/early 20th century, comprising an oval extending dining table, with two original additional leaves, the plain frieze on tapering legs with ball and claw feet, 240cm extended by 107cm by 74cm; a set of eight dining chairs, including two carvers, with carved top rails and carved and pierced splats, the armchairs with carved hand grips, light-brown drop-in leather seats, on cabriole forelegs, carvers 65cm by 50cm by 107cm, singles 55cm by 46cm by 104cm; a bowfront sideboard, with moulded and carved back support above three central drawers flanked by cupboard doors, on shell carved cabriole legs, 196cm by 72cm by 147cm; and a display cabinet, with moulded and carved pediment above glazed doors enclosing eight adjustable shelves, carved cupboard doors below with a shaped apron, on stout cabriole legs, 128cm by 39cm by 232cm
A Pair of Early 20th Century Japanese Elm and Parquetry Decorated Free-Standing Display Stands, of graduated form with two small drawers flanked by a shelf with sliding doors, the base section with an open shelf flanked by pivoting wings and sliding doors with drawers below, 50cm by 27cm by 128cm . Cabinet 1 - general scuffs and scratches consistent with age. Sliding door fretwork to upper section damaged. Doors on pivoting winged sections also similar. Some variations in colour. Right hand upper side panel with small split. Sections of timber replaced on front left corner next to brushing slide and between the two drawers. Right hand corner with section of timber missing. Repair to moulding. Some losses, minor, to the Greek Key dentil section and the blind fret carving. 041019
