A fine Edwardian inlaid walnut display cabinet, bearing plaque "Hamptons, Pall Mall, London", with moulded shaped cornice, banded frieze and glazed doors with wooden astragals enclosing cloth lined shelves, the base of shaped outline with bombe sides and the whole raised on cup and cover turned legs united by a low stretcher. A William IV/early Victorian secretaire bookcase, bowfronted, with moulded cornice above a pair of glazed doors, the base fitted with a secretaire drawer with fall front and sliding writing surface, series of drawers and pigeonholes, with three further graduated drawers with wooden knob handles flanked by reeded quarter column corners, with moulding below and raised on turned feet. Width 49 ins. CONDITION REPORT: Width across top of lower section 49.25 inches. Height of lower section 43.25 inches. Overall height 88 inches. Maximum depth 25 inches. Maximum depth of bookcase top 11 inches. Minimum depth 8.25 inches. The piece is in generally good original condition. There are some minor problems but nothing of any major significance. There is a small piece of moulding detached at the top right hand side below the cornice. We have the loose piece. The doors are in good condition and there is no damage to any of the glass panels. The sides of the cabinet are in good order on both the top and bottom. There is some small veneer loss to the top right hand corner of the top and a very small section of crossbanding missing at the same point but on the front right hand edge. The secretaire interior is generally in good condition. There is one interior drawer knob handle missing and one loose. The fall front secretaire is a little stiff but operates as it should as does the sliding writing surface. The secretaire drawer front is in good condition as are the handles. The second drawer has a damaged right hand handle which has a screw through the centre and a small section of the backplate is missing on the underside edge. The is also a small section of cockbeading missing on the left hand bottom edge of the drawer. The third and fourth drawers and handles are all in good condition. The corner columns are in generally good order although there is one very small loss to the bottom of the right hand column. The left hand column has a small piece of beading missing just below the turned section. The applied beaded front edge has a detached section of corner beaded moulding. We have the pieces. The right and left hand return mouldings are in good order. The original feet are generally in good condition with only minor scuffs and losses. The backboards are in good order and original.
A late Victorian rosewood display cabinet, with carved and fretwork pediment above a series of shelves and mirrors and turned supports, the base fitted with a pair of bowed glazed doors enclosing velvet lined shelves and flanked by a cupboard with open aperture and raised on short turned and cabriole legs. Width 60 ins.
A Victorian walnut chemists cabinet, with series of glazed cupboards, fall front cabinets enclosing pigeonholes and drawers and also fitted with further drawers and cupboard to the base and raised on brass feet. Width 76 ins (see illustration). CONDITION REPORT: This piece is in generally very good original condition. The cornice is in good order. There are some drawing pin holes to the top and right had corners. The doors to the upper section are original and appear to have the original glazing. They are in generally good condition. The handles appear to be original as are the hinges and lock escutcheons. We have a key and all three doors lock. The centre door has three small drawing pin holes to the top of the arch. The fall front flaps are in good condition as are the interior drawers and pigeon holes. The base, cupboards and drawers are all in good order with original brasswork. The sides of the piece are in good condition with only minor marks and scratches. The feet are original and in good condition. There are some old scratch and liquid marks to the top working surface but in our opinion these are not problematic.
A late 19th century ebonised bamboo and lacquered side cabinet, with glazed doors enclosing shelves. Width 23 ins. CONDITION REPORT: The cabinet is in generally good condition. The top is flat and undamaged. There is some rubbing to the gilding but no serious issues. The doors are in generally good order. They are not warped and the glass is not cracked. There are some scuffs around the handle which is probably a later replacement. The left hand side of the piece has some minor scuffs. The right hand side has a vertical crack running from the base approximately 2/3 of the way up the piece and one or two other surface scuffs and scratches. This would easily repair. One of the backboards is a little loose. The legs are in good condition and the piece is structurally solid.
A pair of Art Nouveau style bedside cabinets, each with rear pediment, white and grey variegated marble top, drawer, shelf and cupboard and raised on short turned legs. Width 15.5 ins. CONDITION REPORT: The rear upstands both lift out of the rear of the cabinet. They should really be glued in place as there is too much movement here. Other than this the pair of cabinets are in first class condition with no damage, repairs or restoration. We cannot see any evidence of any woodworm past or present and the items are very rigid at the joints.
A 19th century ebonised and brass bound two tier display cabinet, with canted angles and enclosing a series of glass shelves to each section and raised on a plinth base. Width across cornice 40.5 ins. CONDITION REPORT: Maximum width 42 ins, width across cornice 40.5 ins, height 71 ins, depth of upper shelves 9.5 ins, depth of lower shelves 12 ins. The condition of the cabinet is generally good, untouched, original order. There are minor surface scratches and one small veneer loss to the top left hand corner of the base. The doors are not warped. The backboards are original. There are minor scuffs to the base as one would expect. The brasswork has lost some of its original lacquer. The interior green painting is later and could be improved. The glass shelves are original.

Five cabinet cups and saucers, French, Wedgwood, Coalport and two others. CONDITION REPORT: The lighter blue and floral tea cup has a crack approximately 3 cm in length and the saucer has two cracks in the centre of approximately 8 cm and 10 cm. The darker blue and floral cup has restoration to the rim in two places, the saucer has rubbed gilding. The heavily gilded cup and saucer both have rubbed gilding and the saucer has a firing flaw to the underside approximately 5 mm square. The blue and gilded cup & saucer with portrait panels - the cup has a totally restored handle, crudely done and a crack running approximately 8 cm in length through the body.
