A fine quality burr amboyna, partridgewood, ebony and marble side cabinet or commode, c.1900, in the Regency Egyptian Revival manner, the mottled grey marble top with cut front corners, over a single frieze drawer and pair of doors flanked by faux fluted ebony and boxwood pilasters terminating in Egyptian masks, opening to reveal a bank of four mahogany drawers with turned ebony handles and edge banding, lined in mahogany and cedar wood, on an ebony plinth base with brass castors, 35½ x 19¾in.
