A late 18th/early 19th Century Continental oak side cabinet, the carved gadrooned pediment applied with three lion masks above arched panel doors and sides applied with further cherub and lion masks, the frieze fitted with a pair of drawers, raised on ebonized bun feet, the back panel applied with a Maple`s Depository label inscribed `Lady C.C. Bennett`, height approx 157cm. Note: Lady C.C. Bennett donated a collection of Peruvian pottery to the British Museum in 1942.
