A Victorian music cabinet, veneered in thuya-wood with ebony banded borders, inlaid stringing, with gilt brass mounts and beading, the interior with fitted sliding trays and enclosed by a pair of panelled doors with gilt brass hammerhead handles, Corinthian capitals and fluted ebonized pilasters, the brass inset fitting stamped 'No. 379', above an open compartment with divisions for music sheets, flanked by square protruding corner pilasters, on turned feet with brass castors. 21.5in. (54.5cm.) wide x 3ft. 11.5in. (1.21m.) high.
