18th Century green-lacquered bowfront hanging corner cabinet, the shaped superstructure with shelf over moulded cornice and pair of doors with chinoiserie shallow relief decoration of a carriage procession before a landscape, enclosing red-painted interior with shaped shelf over two bowfront shelves, 103cm high Condition: Shelf to superstructure has later mouldings supporting it beneath, cornice has general flake losses and chips to upper edge, further flaking to frieze, doors are warped and there is some gapping noticeable between them, interior with much general paint flaking commensurate with age and use, some moulding strips coming away from right hand door - **General condition consistent with age
Good early to mid 18th Century STYLE black-lacquered Chinoiserie cabinet, the hinged doors decorated with a perching mythical bird and four figures in a landscape with pavilions, punch-decorated brass escutcheon and six hinges, enclosing three short, two medium and two long drawers with further Chinoiserie decoration and quatrefoil backed drop handles, 100cm x 43cm x 89cm high, on a fine giltwood Baroque stand carved with central cherub bust between dolphins or sea serpents, the front supports finely carved as bare-breasted female terms with bead necklaces and fruiting pendants, over C-scroll legs, the sides deeply carved with shells and further pendants, 110cm x 58cm x 87cm high, overall 176cm high Condition: Minor fine crazing to door lacquer commensurate with age. Interior generally good, door interiors undecorated, minor cracking to one side, base has typical minor flake losses and a little cracking at joints as to be expected, see further images. An Edwardian style mahogany secretaire display cabinet, having a central shield shaped glazed door, flanked by two glazed doors, and fitted secretaire drawer below, raised on square tapering legs united by a plant shelf, width 48ins, height 78.5ins, depth 16insCondition Report: Cannot guarantee glass is original. Cabinet in good condition, although one jamb maybe slightly different colour, but acceptable. Overall appears to be in satisfactory condition.
Victorian burr walnut side cabinet, breakfront central blind door, flanked by two glazed doors covering fixed shelves, cantered corners with brass fluted tapering columns, terminating with acanthus leaf moulding, all standing on bun feet, width 183cm (72"), depth 43cm (17"), height 107cm (42").Condition report: Blister to veneer on top, approximately 2" in diameter, knocks to corner of top on cantered corners, all metal beadings and fittings present, small section of stringing lifting to left hand side of cabinet.
