A PAIR OF MAHOGANY GLAZED DISPLAY CABINETS GEORGE III STYLE, 19TH CENTURY AND LATER Each 199cm high, 70cm wide, 37.5cm deep Condition Report: Both cabinets with the marks, knocks, scratches and abrasions commensurate with age and use. Old splits, chips and some losses. Small plugged holes to the timber above each escutcheon. Various old repairs - see images. One cabinet with one interior mirror plate lacking. Some joints opening slightly. One cabinet with the lower door detached from one of its hinges - see image. The fabric surfaces to the interior with various marks and wear - see images for details. A Victorian musical photograph album, containing a collection of approx. 35 Victorian portrait photographs, c. 1860 and later, mostly carte de visite format, a couple of cabinet cards, including named celebrity carte de visites, William Gladstone, Prince Albert Victor, Lillie Langtry, Sarah Bernhardt, further actresses, etc., further portrait prints and ephemera, chromolithographed leaves, contemporary calf over bevelled boards, embossed and blocked, some bumps and scuffs, perished spine, 4to The 'music box' movement with faults. The album worn with some losses in places. The leaves scuffed, in places torn at the edges. The images mostly OK-good.
