A pair of Royal Worcester cabinet plates, each painted with a fly fishing fly and with gilt heightened borders, marked in puce to the bases, diameter 22.5cm. CONDITION REPORT: The yellow fly decorated plate has a hairline glaze crack to the reverse and also a rear glaze flaw around the rim. Both have very light surface marks and very minor rubbing to the gilding.
A collection of various cabinet plates to include Aynsley, Spode and Coalport examples, a pair of Royal Worcester chinoiserie plates, dated 1885, and a Minton example painted with fish, also a set of New Pottery Clarice Cliff 'Rosabelle' plates and sauce boat, a Wedgwood jasperware bowl and trinket box, a Royal Doulton crystal vase.
An Edwardian Sheraton Revival mahogany and inlaid display cabinet, the broken swan neck pediment above glazed cupboard doors with inlay to both frieze and side panels upon a serpentine base of three drawers, raised on square section tapering legs to spade feet, width 115cm. CONDITION REPORT: There is a split to the central moulding beneath the swan neck pediment, also splits to the side of the cornice where the joints have moved, slight lifts in the veneer in parts, general surface wear, a few flecks of veneer have been repaired over the years but still an attractive cabinet.
