An 18th-century black lacquer and Chinoiserie cabinet on stand, the interior fitted with many small drawers and enclosed by a pair of doors with raised pseudo-Oriental scenes, in gilt lacquer with decorative brass cabinet fittings throughout, on a stand with simple cross-grain moulding and square supports 82 cm overall width x 151 cm overall height x 46 cm overall depth, 78 cm height of stand-alone.Condition report: The doors have a slight spring to them and signs of shrinkage is showing through to the lacquer on the doors. Some minor losses to the applied decoration in places, with general wear to the surface throughout, commensurate with age and use. No key is present.
