Diameter approx 25cm.
A mahogany bookcase cabinet in the George III taste, the moulded cornice above two banks of adjustable shelving and three cupboard doors on a plinth base CONDITION REPORTS Overall with general wear and scuffs. Size approx. 170 cm wide x 204 cm high. Shelves to top section are adjustable, depth of shelves (front to back) is approx 27.5cm.
An early 20th Century ebonised and glazed museum display cabinet with double rising top over panelled sides raised on square tapered supports by F Sage & Co. Limited London (bears ivorine labels) and also with ivorine label inscribed "This case was presented by Sir William W Portal Bart FSA, an early benefactor of the museum" (probably ex-The Basingstoke Willis Museum) CONDITION REPORTS Wear and scuffs, chips conducive with age and use. Cabinet has been repainted black and paint has got onto the glass panels at edges. Screw holes to top frame. Some small nail/ pin holes to top. Some blocks to underside added, and some blocks/braces missing to underside. It appears it would be possible to remove the top from the base.
A 1930's oak sideboard, the shallow raised back above three cushion drawers and three cupboard doors with applied carved floral decoration raised on turned cup and cover supports united by stretchers, bears label inscribed "Magnum - Magnum Cabinet Co. Ltd., Manufacturers, 287-9 Old Street, London EC1"
A circa 1900 mahogany bijouterie cabinet of rectangular outline with blind fretwork carved decoration on square tapering legs united by an undertier CONDITION REPORTS General wear and dirt. Some scuffs and chips, including some chips to edges of legs, particularly near feet. The cabinet is locked and there is no key. One hinge is unattached. A few scratches to the glass top, however, overall the cabinet/table appears to be in reasonably good condition.
