A mahogany and inlaid bookcase cabinet, the moulded top with oval inlaid decoration above two astragal glazed doors enclosing adjustable shelves above a base of two cupboard doors CONDITION REPORTS 20th century, various chips and losses to the pediment, crack and loss to one of the glass panels. Various scratches, scuffs and marks throughout especially to the top surfaces, large loss to the bottom right hand corner. Various general signs of wear and tear throughout.

An 18th Century Sèvres gilt brass and porcelain inkwell, together with a Sèvres bleu-celeste and gilt decorated coffee can and saucer and a similar chocolate cup, cover and saucer (3) CONDITION REPORTS The inkwell lid has been broken, it appears to have been restored to one side and one side is missing. The gilding to the inkwell edge is badly worn. The inkwell base has been restored and re-painted significantly to one side. See images. The cabinet cup and saucer - the cup is showing cracks to the outside surface but they are not visible from the inside and it looks as though the gilding has been painted on top of it although it does not show up as anything under UV light. See images. Gilding is worn around the edges. Significant surface scratches to the saucer both to the gilding and to the enamel paintwork in the centre. Discolouration all over. The hot chocolate cup - the handle is broken and wire revealed. All over crazing. The handle to the cup itself - wire is showing through at the top and appears to have been repainted. To the other side there is a large hairline crack running down from the top approx half way. The saucer has a large chunk broken from it and it has been re-glued. There are also several chips to the rim. All three pieces of the chocolate cup have hairline cracks, crazing, bad discolouration and are dirty and with wear to the gilding. Japanese cabinet with carved and pierced ledge above a two door cupboard, the central faux bamboo framed wooden panels, decorated with cloisonné panels depicting birds amongst fruiting branches, raised on four slender square section supports, stretchers,, 153 cm high, 96cm wide, 41cm deep, Meiji/Taisho CONDITION REPORT: Two panel doors with lift latch on the left door. There are five loose pieces and a key for this cabinet too. There is a single shelf inside and the interior is in good condition. Screws for the panels can be seen on both doors.Top - gallery appears ok. Four support pillars, one has small piece missing to the top. top lacquered surface is scraped and there is is a large bruise to the front cornice, (mid right hand door) a square around 1.5cm square.Front doors - scratches particularly to the centre carved edging, very scratched and bruised top right hand side of left door (from opening). Left side panel has bruise at mid left hand back edge and some scratching. 'Tray' support rubbed at front corners. Slight nibbles to front 'tray' edge. Stretchers sound but scraped/scratched front rail. Legs - carved corner braces are missing on the two back legs, on both edges. Two side panels for back are present. Both side carved braces at front are missing although small part of brace remains at right hand side.Supports sound but slightly scraped scratched.
