Hornby (China) BR (SR) Steam Locos comprising R2344 0-6-0 unlined black Q1 Class Loco No.33009, this is a factory weathered edition, conditions Good Plus to Excellent in Good Plus box complete with pictured outer sleeve, also in lot 4-6-2 BR green rebuilt Merchant Navy Class Loco No.35012 "United States Lines", this loco is ex R1038 Train Set, condition Good Plus in box section from the original train set cabinet but no accessory pack. Meccano Dealers Cabinets circa 1950's 6-drawer lettered A to E and enclosed a quantity of 1950's red and green parts from a No.9 Outfit and includes funnels, circular parts, brassware, perforated strips, angle girders, gears, worms, boilers, flexible plates and a large quantity of other items. The cabinet also contains Catalogues for Outfit No.6 date coded 3/60, 7, 8 and 9 dated 4/55. Contents are generally Good Plus, cabinet has been overpainted but still retains the original A to E tabs.
A pair of 19th century Sevres style porcelain plates, each decorated with a courting couple, within a green border, 24cm diameter, together with a pair of Paris porcelain flasks, each decorated with a portrait, on a blue celeste ground and an early 20th century Vienna cabinet cup and saucer (5)
A large Victorian silver plated centrepiece, in the form of a giraffe under a palm tree, having a cut glass bowl, with a scroll inscribed 'Presented to Charles J Wadman, by a few friends on his attaining his majority, Bath 30th November 1877', on a mirrored stand, 55cm high overall. A Charles Wadman is recorded as working at The Firm of Wadman Bros. in Bath, Somerset, circa 1870, as a timber merchant and cabinet maker. This centrepiece is thought to have been gifted to Captain W.P.B. Beal at Whipsnade Zoo during the first half of the 20th century, the zoo's first superintendent, before being passed down through the family.
A Sevres Chateau des Tuileries plate, painted with a courting couple after Watteau, signed, printed marks, 24cm diameter, together with an early 20th century Coalport porcelain basket, painted with flowers and a Paris porcelain cabinet cup and saucer, with gilt borders (3)All three are dirty, with overall light general wear. Cup has a chip to the rim, with associated crack. These were removed from a local house move.

Desk: 76.5cm wide, 54cm deep, 100cm high. Bedside cabinet: 38cm wide, 38cm deep, 62.5cm high including glass topper. Stool: 46cm, wide, 40cm deep, 49cm high.Dark ring marks on the desk and dressing table. Scratches and marks commensurate with age.
