A 19th century chair by Henry Thomas Peters of Genoa: Italian, mahogany, the back carved with a Anathenion design flanked by dolphins on spiral turned legs. The underside stamped Peters, Genoa with numbers & paper: label inscribed "R Castello, D Racconlgi (NB: Henry Thomas Peters died in 1852, was active in Genoa around 1830-1850, was one of the leading cabinet makers of the period and was appointed cabinet maker to "The Court of Savoy", producing furniture for the Palazzo Reale)
