Schneeballen - cup, cover and stand: Overall height approx. 11 cm. All pieces have number losses to applied decoration and rubbing to gilt decoration. Cover has two pieces broken off and restored. Gilt branch handle restored at both ends and bird has been re-applied. One of the birds on cup restored. Other restoration, repainting, losses to applied decoration. Chips to foot. Saucer has some pitting/pox marks. Vase approx. 16 cm high. A lot of losses to applied decoration and some restoration. Gilt rubbed. Chips to rim. Some old glue on surface and surface scratches. Base printed puce crowned shield containing three oak leaves and impressed 800 & 7 & hand-painted 45.

A Victorian walnut and gilt brass embellished credenza of typical form, the shaped top with brass gilt decoration throughout above a central cupboard door with Sèvres style panel in the manner of Angelica Kaufmann, flanked by two turned pillars, both with extensive floral and foliate gilt embellishments, flanked by two glazed cabinet doors enclosing two shelves, raised on a decorative gilt plinth base, 178 cm x 112 cm CONDITION REPORTS Some general surface scratches and minor knocks and bumps to edges of veneers. Some slight discolouration and fading to body, compared to the top. Joins to veneered front edges have a couple of splits top to bottom centrally and to one corner. Light rubbing to gilding. Gilding becoming a little loose and benefit from being resecured. Gilding rather dull around lower edge from general dirt. Two blocks at front - corners very knocked and bumped, and two back corners knocked and bumped. One front pedestal has a heat damage mark from half way up in a rectangle approx 2 x 3cm and heat damage all round the bottom half of that pedestal, and pedestal is loose and requires resecuring. Various chips to edges particularly to cupboards,and to the veneers approx 1cm x 0.2cm . One of glass panes has a section of gilding missing top edge on the door. Overall, however, a nice sound piece which would benefit from some sympathetic restoration to bring back to former glory.

A circa 1900 Continental mahogany and marquetry inlaid side cabinet, the shaped top rosewood cross-banded and with scrolling foliate and ribbon decoration over two bow fronted cupboard doors decorated with oval medallions and urns opening to reveal a single shelf flanked by shaped sides, raised on square tapered legs, 107 cm wide

An Anglo-Indian padouk wood cabinet on stand, the top with brass bound corners, over two fielded panelled doors enclosing two long and three short drawers with marquetry inlaid decoration, flanked by heavy cast brass carrying handles, raised on a base in mahogany on turned supports united by a two drawer undertier, 55.5 cm wide x 107 cm high CONDITION REPORTS Has general wear, bumps, bruises, crazing to the varnish conducive with age and wear. The left hand side back has a split going approximately half way up from the base - about 1 cm in from the edge. Has replacement handles and a strip on the right hand side has been replaced (see image). The interior ivory panels are split with small sections missing. The central four mock drawers have no applied decoration although holes where it used to be. Brass handles appear to be replacements. The top and bottom drawer liners appear to be split. The later stand has knocks, chips, scratches, etc conducive with age and use. Drawer liners are split.

Cracking, splits, chips and losses. Quite a few areas of moulding missing. Various alterations and repairs. Interior of top section is covered in a velvet fabric and shelves appear slightly warped. Some old woodworm holes.

A Victorian mahogany bookcase on cupboard, having a pair of glazed doors above a pair of panel doors, 130 cm wide See illustration Condition report Report by NG Approx. Measurements H: 241cm W (top): 130cm W (base): 125cm D: 44cm Cornice with some losses to back left side as you look at it. Moulding around glass moved so joints are not closed at top. Panel doors with slight bow. Overall wear with knocks and bumps especially to plinth. Report by JB Bookcase displays general signs of wear and markings that you would expect from age and use, both backing boards top and bottom intact and would appear original. Left hand side top hat section is missing some veneer to the rear, general marks, scratches and bruises to left hand side of the case. Similar markings and scratches can be observed to the right hand side also. Some light wear to centre top hat section. Light chipping to veneer to the top of the left hand door. The surrounding edge to the glass is slightly raised on both the left and right hand side of the top sections, and is loose to the touch. Interior would seem in relatively good order, again general markings wear and scratching that you would expect. Both doors in working order. A few dark marks can be observed to the bottom of the left hand side door, running down on to the base section, which has a few noticeable dents to the surface, along with the coffee mark, and two deep scratches along with some chipping to the front. Hinges replaced, shelves and shelving sections would appear original, they display a coherent amount of wear in comparison to other sections. General rubbing and markings to base. Right hand exterior door would appear slightly sun-bleached, with both displaying general markings. Left hand side of the lower cabinet has two noticeably deep scratches and some loss of veneer around foot area, and the same can be said for the right hand side. Whereas the front bottom section is slightly sun-bleached Please see illustrations for details
