Central display cabinet with two shelves and glazed arch top door with cupboard under, flanked by two cupboards, each with three shelves and surmounted by an open shelf.
A French bow front Marble top cocktail cabinet c1950's. Kingwood body with floral marquetry panels to doors and single drawer above, gilt metal mounts and detachable marble top. In the Louis XV style. This has an internal light set up to trigger when the door is open. Keys present. Reputedly purchased in Harrods in the 1950's. W 103cm, D 46cm, H 101cm.

Magnificent Patek-Philippe Shop Counter Display Unit supplied only to Authorised dealers. The case is inset with panels of Birds Eye Maple wood and topped with toughened glass is very heavy and designed to protect the watches. The cabinet has the Patek-Philippe serial (Passport) number underneath. Illumination provided by the electric cable which travels up through one of the legs A/F. The cabinet measures 120 Cms wide, 102 cms high and 60 cms deep.

Back left leg currently at an angel, appears to have been set as such from a previous repair. Chips, losses, wear and scuffs throughout. Splits to the backboards and drawer linings. Minor nibbles to the edge of the marble which has some staining. Brass grille slightly bent in places. Please see the additional images.

Two small splits to the right hand side. Some scratching to the left hand side. Small repaired chip to the back right corner of the marble top, in addition, a 15cm wide section to the rear edge which may also be a repaired section. Otherwise, the marble top also has some nibbles to the edges, there is a 'stress crack' towards the left hand side (possibly from something being dropped on it at some point) - however this has not gone through to the base. There is a ring mark and some scuffs towards the right hand side.The underneath of the marble appears to have been strengthened underneath, however, it is in generally good order. Wear, stains and pulls to the linen. General knocks, wear and minor scuffs. Possibly refinished. Please see the additional images.
An early Victorian black papier mache piano-fronted writing cabinet in the manner of Walton of Wolverhampton (unmarked), the serpentine fall with painted Rhine valley scene with a castle and fortified settlement with figures on the mountain path, the interior with Shutford plush scriber and shaped dividers, the side carcass decorated with a Masonic (?) star of David and forget-me-not motif. 29 cm wide x 20 cm deep x 29 cm overall height.A private estateThe lock and key are missingSigns of age throughout with visible crazing affect especially noticeable on the sides. Few chips present and possible signs of restoration to top flap, please see images. Obvious wear to the interior writing cushion. Loss to back right corner.

Surface marks have been removed with some window cleaner.The lighting system works.There is a loose cover to one of the lighting sections which also houses the door catch, on the left door. This is screwed to the roof of the cabinet, but is loose. We are attempting to reconnect the panel, but be aware that it might be loose on purchase.

The top panel with two glass-paned doors; the middle section with two glass-paned doors; the bottom section with two pull drawers and two doors, each with three marble inserts.(Total) height: 85 1/2 in x width: 45 in x depth: 21 1/4 in. (Top section) height: 23 1/4 in x width: 45 in x depth: 21 1/4 in. (Middle section) height: 28 1/2 in x width: 45 in x depth: 21 1/4 in. (Bottom section) height: 33 3/4 in x width: 45 in x depth: 21 1/4 in.Condition:The item is structurally sound and stable. All pieces appear present. All doors and drawers open. No cracks to the glass or marble. The cabinet is comprised of three segments. There is some separation to the joints, especially along the sides. Though the splits may appear dramatic in the photos, it appears each larger panel of wood was created by joining two separate pieces together; over time, these two panels have separated. Some splits to the wood along the interior and back of the pieces and drawers. Some discoloration and patination to the metal drawer pulls, handles, and hinges. Dirt and dust collected throughout.
