Some lifting to lacquer, particularly on top. Also wear to gilt decoration on top. Some typical flakes, minor splits, warping and wear, particularly to edges.

A 1950's Ernest Race BD1 sideboard cabinet, the holoplast surface over a mahogany veneered body with aluminium trim, the two doors enclosing an open interior, on four splayed legs, w. 121 cm*Designed in 1945/46 during a time of post-war austerity, utilising surplus aluminium from wartime aircraft. CONDITION REPORT: Structurally sound. Note image of the underside of the door and missing veneer. One door is hanging slightly lower. The doors feel rough to touch, they likely got damp some time ago. The aluminium does have some brown and black marks in places. Four spots to the surface which may well polish out. A 1960's Danish bookcase cabinet, the fall-front and gallery over a two-door cabinet and plinth base, 115 x 60 x 56 cm, together with a matching chest of two drawers CONDITION REPORT: CITES Article 10 Transaction Specific Ref: 599524/01Structurally sound. Door to cabinet drops. There are some scratches to the surface of the cabinet. The chest has a slight warp to the top drawer. The fall front has a small patch of old water damage but the veneer is not bubbling or broken. Please see the additional images.
