The upper section having a moulded cornice above a bulge front frieze drawer and two cupboard doors with quarter veneered quatrefoil panels in cross-banded borders enhanced with ebony stringing and framed in diagonally grained outer borders; the corners ornamented with gilt brass rosette studs. The well-fitted interior having a central cupboard; the lower edge of the door sliding out to access a hidden compartment with a bank of secret drawers behind the internal slide-out cupboard back, surrounded by cross-banded drawers framed in D-moulding and fitted with small teardrop handles on petalled mounts. The lower chest section with two short over two long drawers raised on turned ball feet. 63 ins (160 cms) high, 37 ins (94 cms) wide.
