CONDITION REPORT Some slight staining to the wash bowl, age related wear ti the wood cabinet in form of small scratches, chips, small areas of chips to the corner and front of top.
A PAIR OF 19TH CENTURY SEVRES TYPE TWIN HANDLED CABINET VASES, of baluster form, wavy rims above a moulded fleur de lys within a scroll, mid blue ground, the main bodies painted with courting couples in landscapes, on a short pedestal with circular foot, bears Sevres style painted marks to the underside, height approximately 46cm (2)Condition: both vases have gilding loss which varies in its wear, size and depth from place to place, some is just on the high points, there appears to be evidence of a design over the gilding which has largely worn away. Some of the black paint on the handles is also a bit worn in patches, two of the handles are slightly wonky, presumably this happened in the firing process, there is no visible damage other than a shallow chip on the back of a scroll on a handle.
