A Fry's Chocolate shop display cabinet, with a pair of sliding glazed doors, 107 cm wide (restored) Condition report Report by JB The cabinet is in fair condition with general marks, light scratches and wear that you would expect from use, the cabinet has been re-painted by the client, so that it is not the black colour that you would expect, it is light brown, and the gold lettering has also been re-done. There are eight glass shelves present, which would look as though they are also replacements. Both doors work and are intact, no major damage of note would appear present Please see illustrations for details

Lot 621

A late Victorian oak floor standing corner cupboard, carved a figure, masks and foliage, 90 cm wide Condition report Report by JB The cabinet displays general signs of wear and markings throughout the main body and the top. The top section of the backing board is intact with minor regions of loss, however, the bottom two sections and the rear supporting foot look as though they have been replaced due to the colour difference in the colour of the wood. Both corner fronts of the detail with the figures, show general rubbing and wear with minor loss. The same could be said for the imagery on the front door. The cornice display splits along the original joins and general wear. The interior looks as though it has been stripped and then re-lined with some form of paper. There is only one shelf remaining, probably a replacement and numerous odd hooks scattered around, coupled with a few holes through to the back. Base section again also displays general wear, knocks, marks and scuffing Please see illustrations for details

A late Victorian rosewood side cabinet, having a glazed door flanked by a pair of columns, 54.5 cm wide See illustration Condition report Report by JB The height approx. - 94 cm - depth approx. 41 cm. The cabinet displays general signs of wear and markings. The top section displaying scratches ranging from light to deep and a few coffee rings. The rear would appear to be intact. On the left hand side of the chest feels slightly warped, with a slightly noticeable join mark running vertically. The right hand side seems to be in better order. The interior worn, a few ink stains and rubbing marks. Comes with two moveable shelves, inside the door noticeably worn, glass has been replaced at some point, however, moving freely. Chest has a slight wobble probably caused by the rear foot being bent. General marks and wear present to columns and base Please see illustrations for details
