A LATE 17th CENTURY CONTINENTAL COLLECTORS CABINET ON STAND with boxwood strung Walnut panelled and Rosewood banded top and sides enclosing an ebony banded front of small tortoiseshell and engraved Ivory banded drawers surrounding a central portico with further smaller drawers to the interior, fitted lions mask head escutcheons and iron locks; the bobbin turned stand with under stretchers 109cm by 37cm 142cm high.

A 19TH CENTURY CHINESE HARDWOOD COLLECTORS CABINET ON STAND, consisting of small drawers and sliding cupboards having enamelled figure panels to the front, relief carved tree decoration and bronze handles in the form of bats standing on a heavily carved shaped base with bold cabriole legs and ball and claw feet joined by an under shelf 167cm high 82cm wide 41cm deep.

A pair of Heal's oak settles, circa 1900-1910, each inlaid to one shaped end with chequer board motif in pewter and ebony, ivorine plaques to reverse (2) 102 x 81.50 x 62.50cm (40 x 32 x 24in) Other Notes: Heal's opened their first store in 1810. In 1818, the business expanded and moved to Tottenham Court Road and by the end of the nineteenth century it was one of the best-known furniture suppliers in London. The chequered motif of inlaid pewter and ebony was used by Heals in their furniture exhibited at the 1900 Paris Exhibition (Sir Ambrose Heal and the Heal Cabinet Factory, Oliver Heal, Oblong Press 2014, figures 359, 360 and 361 pages 159 and 160)

A pair of Royal Crown Derby cabinet plates with gilt borders, d. 23 cm, together with three other assorted plates, all decorated in the 'Old Imari' 1128 pattern CONDITION REPORT: One of the former two plates with a hairline crack. Otherwise, no signs of chips, cracks or restoration. May be some v. minor losses to decoration, although none obvious. Three remaining plates: 2 x 21 cm diameter, 1 x 19 cm diameter.
