Nineteenth century oak two-stage dresser, the cabinet back having three central open shelves, flanked by glazed cupboards above base with single drawer & dog kennel flanked by two blind panelled cupboards, raised on style-type feet, 151 x 41.5 x 190cms Condition: stains & marks to surfaces, some dings & dents to edges, some of hooks - possibly not original, splits to wood in dog kennel area, otherwise appears okay.
Late seventeenth / early eighteenth century burr walnut secretaire cabinet on chest, the blind panelled front revealing fitted interior with an arrangement of pigeon holes, drawers & central cupboard, the inside of the lid having a leather tooled adjustable writing slope, raised above base with two short & two long drawers, all raised on bun-type feet, 110 x 50.5 x 155cms Condition: front panel of cupboard has splits in an almost H design, dry in places with splits & chippings to rims, top right part of cornice is loose, veneer bubbling & losses throughout, interior drawer configuration again has splits, adjustable writing slope surface is tired & dry with ratched mechanism behind partially broken (there is a key available).
A ROYAL WORCESTER CABINET CUP AND SAUCER transfer printed and overpainted with a mallard duck, signed Jas Stinton, circa 1938 together with another cabinet cup transfer printed and overpainted with a Ptarmigan, the saucer with a Blackcock, both signed Maybury, circa 1953 (4) Condition Report: mallard cup crazed, saucer light surface scratching. Ptarmigan cup nice condition. Blackcock saucer three dark dots and light surface scratching.
