A NORTH EUROPEAN WALNUT TWO STAGE CABINET, the stepped upper section raised on turned columns with central cupboard having cavetto cornice and with inset embossed plaque of a woman in medieval dress, flanked on either side by a stained glass cupboard, each surmounted by a spindle gallery, two frieze drawers with brass drop handles, over two geometrically moulded doors, moulded pilasters, on plinth, late 19th century, 53" wide, 90" high.
19th Century mahogany Collectors Cabinet, the interior fitted with forty drawers, each with specimen butterflies and moths, enclosed by panelled doors and on plain base, 97cms, (3'2") and accompanying notebooks and diaries. Provenance: From the Estate of the late Doctor Derek Howton, who was the Principal Recorder for Northamptonshire from 1980 to 2005.

An Edwardian mahogany display cabinet of unusual design, with central astragal door flanked by a pair of concave glass panels enclosing lined shelves, surmounted by domed section pediments, with central frieze drawer and inlaid panel door below, flanked by inlaid trellis pattern convex panel doors, raised on square tapering legs with undertier and scrolling understretchers centred by turned urn finials, on spade feet, 48in. x 19in. x 79 1/2in. high. A large Continental oak cabinet with raised back section, fitted a pair of lead glazed panelled doors decorated with lion motifs and enclosing shelves, flanked by turned pilasters, further pilasters below supporting the upper section, fitted two gadrooned short drawers to the frieze, a pair of panelled doors below flanked by pilasters, raised on a plinth base with block feet, 54in. x 84in. high.

An Unusual 17th Century Italian Walnut Table-Topped Cabinet. The thick rectangular top having a moulded edge carved with foliated lunettes above a nulled frieze. The trapezoidal-section cupboard having a central door on hoop hinges, flanked by panels with a carved border above a single long drawer. The lower section having a petal carved edge raised by shaped splayed side boards. 28 ins (71 cms) in height, 33 ins (84 cms) wide, 19½ ins (49.5 cms) deep.
An Oak Hanging Wall Cabinet. The ventilated door on iron H-form hinges having an open upper panel of four twinned baluster spindles and a lower panel of carved strap-work arabesques with vertical bands of foliate scrolling strap-work either side. The outer moulded frame enhanced with dark stain to the channels. The door opening to reveal a shelved interior, 26 ins (66 cms) high, 23 ins (59 cms) wide, 7 ins (18 cms) deep.
A Fabulous Quality Queen Anne Mirror-fronted Walnut Cabinet on Chest. The figured veneers inlaid with feather banding and having a fine colour & patination. The upper section having an ogee moulded cornice above two bevel-edged mirror doors opening to reveal two short top drawers over five long drawers of graduated depths inlaid with decorative banding and fitted with brass ring handles on round mounts. The base section having an ovolu moulded top and housing three upper drawers and three long drawers below; each with feather banded inlay and cock-beaded edges. The brass fittings embellished with engraved ornamentation. Standing on bracket feet 71 ins (181 cms) high, 37½ ins (95 cms) wide, 20 ins (51 cms) deep.
An 18th Century Walnut Veneered Collector's Cabinet. The burr figured top inlaid with a band of stringing framed by a cross-banded border with a moulded under-edge. The front having two doors with break-arch panels outlined in stringing and opening to reveal six long graduated drawers with turned wooden knob handles. Standing on a moulded base with low bracket feet 14½ ins (37 cms) high, 15¾ ins (40 cms) wide, 9¾ ins (25 cms) deep.
A Fine 19th Century Gothic Revival Oak Cabinet in the form of a dome-topped chest on stand. The dome top profusely carved with rich Gothic tracery panels divided by long pierced fret-work iron straps. The large shaped lock plate and clasp above a small central panel deeply carved with a chalice issuing berries and cascading vines; the flanking panels displaying detailed Gothic tracery arches. The hinged fall-front dropping down to reveal three long carved drawers with twisted iron hoop handles and the leather writing panel accommodated within. The stand having a small drawer with similarly carved tracery and octagonal column legs with shaped corner brackets above an open lower shelf. 63 ins (160 cms) high, 43 ins (110 cms) wide, 17¾ ins (45 cms) deep.
A Fabulous Spanish Polychromed Shrine Cabinet Circa 1530. The top tapered & sloped down to the back with a moulded edge above two doors ornamented with relief moulded gesso-work armorial motifs & scrolling thistles enriched with gilding on a Prussian blue ground. The interior having an arcaded shelf with pierced & gilded tracery arches on shaped pillars flanked by half columns to the sides. The back painted with gold stars on a deep blue ground, with saints to the twin inner-door panels. The canted sides painted with further armorial crests and scrolling banners. The cabinet raised on the backs of two carved & gilded lions passant regardant, on a moulded breakfront base, 58 ins (147 cms) high, 27 ins (69 cms) wide, 20 ins (51 cms) deep.
A Small & Attractive Hanging Open Wall Cabinet. The moulded top above an arcaded frieze carved with foliage and raised on gadrooned side pilasters enriched with punchwork and headed by Ionic scroll capitals. The open shelves with moulded serpentine fronted edges and a planked back, 24½ ins (63 cms) high, 23 ins (58 cms) wide, 5½ ins (14 cms) deep.
